Dane E. Holmes

Dane Holmes previously served as head of Human Capital Management at Goldman Sachs. He was also head of Pine Street, the firm’s leadership development group for partners and select managing directors. Dane was a member of the Management Committee, Partnership Committee, Americas Diversity Committee and Disclosure Committees. Prior to assuming his previous role, Dane was head of Investor Relations in the Executive Office. He was responsible for all aspects of investor relations including shareholders, debt investors, rating agencies and corporate governance engagement. Earlier in his career, he was a member of the Financial Institutions Group within the Investment Banking Division and the Credit Risk Management Group within the Finance Division. Dane joined Goldman Sachs in 2001. He was named managing director in 2004 and partner in 2010.
Prior to joining the firm, Dane worked at J.P. Morgan covering the financial institutions, municipalities and healthcare industries. He held positions in the Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Markets & Advisory and Portfolio Management Groups. Dane is secretary to the Board of Directors of StoryCorps and Chair, of the Board of Trustees of the Ron Brown Scholar Program. Dane earned a BA in Architecture from Columbia University.
