Staunton Career Advisors
Gib Staunton is the founder and principal of Staunton Career Advisors, which works with 20- to 30-year-olds as they enter the work force or switch careers. She helps them find a field that matches their interest and aptitude and then assists them with the entire process including application, networking, mock interviews and resume review.
She is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She has her Leadership Coaching Certificate from George Mason. Prior to starting Staunton Career Advisors, she was the Lower School Admission Director at St. Anne’s-Belfield School from 2002-2016. Gib also taught for 10 years in the Boston area at Shady Hill School, Chestnut Hill School and Nashoba Brooks School of Concord.
Gib currently serves as a member of UVA’s Curry School Foundation Board, and is on the National Selection Committee and the Chair of the Designated Schools Selection Committee for the Jefferson Scholars Program. She was selected to be in UVA’s Raven Society. Gib and her husband have 4 children.
