We collaborate with some of the leading private corporations and non-profit organizations in the world to help further the success of our Scholars. We work with each organization on customized relationship. Our sponsors provide regular internships, support specific programs and community service projects, and hold local alumni and cultivation events. In exchange, many Scholars pursue careers with these companies, helping them expand their pools of exceptional talent.

“At Capital One, we’re always looking for exceptional talent and inspired change agents who have the courage to share their unique perspective and challenge the status quo. This is why we’re proud to support the Ron Brown Scholar Program, which is equally committed to cultivating the next generation of transformational leaders. We believe that given the opportunity and an inclusive environment where the collective wisdom of diverse perspectives is nurtured, all individuals thrive. We see the Ron Brown Scholar Program doing that and more.” – Lane Hopkins, Chief Diversity Officer, Capital One
“Deloitte is committed to recruiting, developing and advancing a diverse and highly skilled workforce that is valued for who they are as much as what they contribute to our organization. Our work with the Ron Brown Scholar Program supports these goals, and we are proud to help high-potential students receive the assistance they need to become the next generation of leaders in a variety of fields.” – Brian Siegel, Principal, Deloitte Consulting
“As a leading global public relations firm, Weber Shandwick is proud to partner with the Ron Brown Scholar Program in its mission of accelerating the progress of African Americans into the mainstream of business and professional leadership. The Program’s proven track record of academic success and ability to maintain a close community of ambitious, accomplished Scholars who support one another’s commitment to continued excellence, leadership and service are key elements of its value proposition. Collaborating with an organization as passionate and driven about diversity and quality as we are helps us seek out a workforce as diverse as the clients we serve, the places in which we work and the audiences we reach, and enhances our ability to deliver the innovative ideas our clients expect.” – Judith Harrison, Senior Vice President, Staffing and Diversity & Inclusion, Constituency Management Group
“Siemens is proud to be a partner of the Ron Brown Scholars. For us, the benefits are simple: we are investing in leaders of the future. We invest in two ways: first, through the scholarships we’ve funded, and second, through the eight Scholars (to-date, and counting!) who have interned at one of our businesses. As a noted public servant once said: “Talent and ability are equally distributed, but opportunity is not.” We see our contribution to this amazing community as a way to help distribute opportunity to a well-deserving group of people.” – Denice Kronau, Retired, Chief Diversity Officer at Siemens AG
